Request a Review

Alright – well if you haven’t noticed as of late, I haven’t been able to get to many of my requested reviews.

So with that I have devised a new system that will allow for one review a week and will hopefully get all of my faithful readers more interested and more active with the site.

What I will do is post a poll each week starting on Monday and by the end of the week on Saturday night I will close said poll. What this is intended to do is to give the readers a little more to provide to the site rather than just their comments and requests. So hopefully everyone will enjoy this new change.

So how this works is simple: 4 requested reviews made by you the viewers will be placed up on a poll starting each week (on Monday unless I forget) – these 4 requested reviews will be picked at random out of the requests that have been made. Then you the readers have a week to pick one of the four to be reviewed by Saturday evening. The following Sunday I will post the review of whichever movie request wins the poll for that week. That following Monday a new poll will be made and a new review can be expected by next Sunday.

Please remember that you are still able to make requests for movie reviews.

  3. Haha! That’s somewhat the point. This way people can still ask for movies to be reviewed and have a reason to ask for them and to also check back every week to vote on which one will be reviewed.

    Thought it was a pretty kewl idea – but if it fails then I’ll scratch it and just go back to trying to get a review out whenever I can.

    (honestly I don’t want to review either of those movies – but I must!)

  4. I agree with Brisket. Not to be difficult, but can you change the poll to include more than 2 movies? And like the top vote wins for that week?

  5. Ok fine … I’ll change it to 4 movies to choose between. Remember the movies that are up for review are only supplied by the readers. So if you don’t like the options suggest other movies!

  8. I’ll save everyone the trouble for The Assassination of Jesse James….1/10. That’s right 1 outta Mutha F’in 10, that one point is purely for the acting. That movie is the slowest movie I’ve ever seen, save yourself the trouble and don’t see it. The title tells you the whole movie anyhow, thats right the dude dies, big flippin’ deal. End of story.

    I’ve been so entirely busy as of late and I have not had time to post anything to the site – I apologize.

    I hope to be able to again do reviews in about a weeks time.
